New to PWC with a interesting prroject.

Great project! And I understand your objective completely. Who cares what pump or prop it has. If it goes two mph that will still get you out fishing! Keep it up

    650/X-2 water hose routing

True, with the pj's you need minimum 3/4 id line for the stinger and cooling intake. I've bored a new pipe through the hull before to run it but it's a lot of work

    Quick question for Yamaha people

Someone at my local scrap yard dropped a trailer with an old lax Yamaha and 701 wetjet, my question is the wet jet is complete should I buy the motor and ebox out of it? I'm a kawi guy but is the power train something the super jet crowd can use? Has the big aluminumpipe with what looks like...

sunk my brand new 2015 WDK rip...she gone

I hate to say it but probably a shipping channel has a lot of oils in the water that kept it from corrosion!

    650sx build by: my650sux

In my 650sx I figured 6500 should be good between top end and acceleration as I should be around 6500 a lot of the time. I can always make it bigger or smaller as you know. As for water I actually just use my pressure washer hooked up to a 1/8 npt fitting! And thanks for the formula page layout...

    650sx build by: my650sux

Like always great work, I forgot where I did my formula but I measured it against port size and a target rpm of 6500, might of been a little too high but I can always make it smaller. I want to do the same as you and jacket mine as well so it's a true dry pipe. Basically I use stainless...

What diameter is your new pipe? I'm hydro forming mine and I'm making my chamber a hair under 7 inch in diameter. I did the math and I would like a 2.5 in outlet but will settle for stock waterbox size for now

    650sx shark attack

I hear ya, my plan is to finish this one up and see what I can do with it as is. At this time I work/ family more than ride so a super nice ski isn't priority but I'll see what I can do

    650sx shark attack

Should be fun, my question is with more power than stock do you think a 15 degree prop will be too short?

    650sx shark attack

What's up guys, here I want to detail my buildup. I acquired this ski blown up, just finished a completely new engine rebuild, going to buff and polishing the 80's custom paint. And am in progress of my custom exhaust pipe setup. So far I have ride plate, prop, intake grate. 44 carb, ported...
