This is the type of system I'd suggest. Have bunk ramps that hinge and fold down. Even if the front only is up, it will be stable and convenient when in the water.

Well now it's all together and the same issue is back. Fired up fine all week in the shop and about to water test today and its back at it. I left the battery connected. As if that could be a issue? I'm just tired of jerking around with this thing. Going to swap a different cdi in it.

Found the issue! The black wire coming from the HX3 for the external toggle switch was connected to a ground. Once that was disconnected all issues seized. I should have paid better attention to the wiring diagram!

It's not the start stop. Just tried one I know for a fact is good. I've narrowed it down to the fact that it will not run when the red&brown are connected to start stop. But when I disconnect it will run fine when jumped.

Tried new plugs, from a known running sk. No dice. It will fire every now and then randomly. No real ryhme or reason... Bad epic?

I was able to make a connection tonight. Used a laptop with XP and loaded the USB drivers manually in device manager. Thanks for all the advice and assistance guys. It's very much appreciated.

No switch installed, and yes I clicked "connect" but it did not find the port.

Thanks fellas. I did install the Y jumper, soon think we are good there. Lanyard was installed. I think the issue is the operating system being too new. I have access to another with XP. I'm going to give that a shot tomorrow afternoon. I appreciate the help, thanks again. Let you know how it goes.

I have Windows 10...what driver do I need? The computer makes a sounds when the USB is connected but nothing shows in the drives available section on the computer... I do not have a Y. Didn't know I needed another cord besides the one that plugs into the epic tether to USB on computer?
