Tuning help.. Brought the Superjet out yesterday to do some tuning after fixing a few issues over the winter. Basically I can get the topend crisp and fast, the bottom pretty good but mid range it will be good then after a high speed run and a few blips it will bog out. It won't die and I can...
I wouldn't have any idea about that sort of thing. I wish I could own and operate a successful business during the days, work a full time union job, and remodel a house completely in a year's time. Man I wish I could manage my time like that..
Watercraft Journal said it's gonna be about half the cost of a Hydrospace... So assuming that's $15,000. My guess is gonna be $8000. I'd be cool with that.
Factory B mod is the best
Limited is almost as good
Riva red pipe is nice, needs attention to be reliable
Protec stamped chamber is good
Protec Mach 1 cast is okay
Coffman's cast isnt worth the effort
Those are wet pipes.
I haven't ran a dry pipe in a blaster but Ive heard the speedwerx pipe is...
This is the type of system I'd suggest. Have bunk ramps that hinge and fold down. Even if the front only is up, it will be stable and convenient when in the water.
Well now it's all together and the same issue is back. Fired up fine all week in the shop and about to water test today and its back at it. I left the battery connected. As if that could be a issue? I'm just tired of jerking around with this thing. Going to swap a different cdi in it.
Found the issue!
The black wire coming from the HX3 for the external toggle switch was connected to a ground. Once that was disconnected all issues seized. I should have paid better attention to the wiring diagram!
It's not the start stop. Just tried one I know for a fact is good. I've narrowed it down to the fact that it will not run when the red&brown are connected to start stop. But when I disconnect it will run fine when jumped.
So I have been chasing a electrical gremlin in my superjet. Hopefully you guys may have some ideas. It's a 701 with stock 62t flywheel And stator. NEW epic hx3 cdi and reman coil from ocd solution.
Apon test firing the ski, it will rev once and die immediately. I pulled the red and brown wires...
I was able to make a connection tonight. Used a laptop with XP and loaded the USB drivers manually in device manager. Thanks for all the advice and assistance guys. It's very much appreciated.
Thanks fellas. I did install the Y jumper, soon think we are good there. Lanyard was installed. I think the issue is the operating system being too new. I have access to another with XP. I'm going to give that a shot tomorrow afternoon. I appreciate the help, thanks again. Let you know how it goes.
I have Windows 10...what driver do I need?
The computer makes a sounds when the USB is connected but nothing shows in the drives available section on the computer...
I do not have a Y. Didn't know I needed another cord besides the one that plugs into the epic tether to USB on computer?
