Here is the beginning stages of a new Team Bill Hull Design. This hull is based off of the stunt hull but some changes have been made to compensate for some things that Bill wanted different. This boat is around the same length as the stunt hull but will be wider on the bottom deck. There is a new pump intake design and the front is molded up to help climb the surf. This hull will use a standard hood opening to let you use a oem tank. Any aftermarket hood will work. More details to come and the pics attached are the first stages of the plug that will be used for the mold. More pics coming soon.

Sweet, looks better than the stunt IMO. Is there going to be an issue with the front motor mounts sitting on an incline or is the bottom deck sectioned ahead of them?

The front mounts are fine their was an issue at first but it's been taken care of.
All oem parts off any yr sj will be a direct bolt on with no modifications needed.
Inside a new firewall design where the top half is recessed 6 in leaving a shelf fir mounting whatever you want from msd to battery or even a fuel tank if you want. It also makes so much more room behind motor making it a much easier to hook up waterlines or change starter or anything that requires work behind the motor. The Bond rail will also be significantly wider than stock. These pics are from the first day cutting the halfs up turning them into plugs should have pics of the actually hull by newyears

Goose, I have a couple of questions about this hull and the stunt hull: Are they meant to be run with foam in the back?
If it is meant to be run with foam, how does the buoyancy work out? Has anyone sunk one of the stunt hulls yet? (on purpose, accidentally, whatever )
Since the back end of the hull is shorter, I am wondering if there is enough volume for flotation foam to float the thing.

Yes Matt I have sunken a stunt hull. That hull had plastic bottles and expanding foam and has no issues when In that situation did the same thing a stock sj would nose down and tail bobbin up. My hulls will be polystyrene foam and expanding foam.

Bouyancy is a great question.......
I do like the looks better than the stunt hull too. That tray is crazy short though. With a super short pole I would probably be stubbing my toes a lot.
