You hacked up that awesome gel coat job Tony did?!?!?!?!?!?!

So after a couple 60 hr work weeks, i am finally gonna have some time to work on my ski. Vacation shut down week mean i should be able to get this thing on the water by next weekend. All my parts have finally shown up and should be able to crank it out fairly quickly.

Got my pump shoe glued in. Motor assembly tomorrow.

Assembled the motor this morning. still have to powdercoat the head an intake manifold. tomorrow is final pump install, figure out an ebox mount, motor and tank mock up.

spent the rest of the afternoon working on the hull.

So out of curiosity how do these setups stay secured when in use? I would think securing to the hood would cause a lot of stress on the hood. is there a ratchet strap or something I'm not seeing?

im guess thats why its appears to require a "pole" on a "fixed steer" ski...

kinda suck to have to buy a $1-2k pole just to be used as a hood hinge ha

skis looking good tho!!

I think all glass fixed steer hoods use a pole hinge and cost around $1500. This one requires a pole because there is no glass hood yet ..... yet.
