Freestyle 300 SX build FINISHED!

Its sled season here, ( well its supposed to be at least ) There are 5 sleds here waiting to ride, 4 of my friends just purchased theirs this year and thats why we have no snow....

Havent really done much on this except build my TL enclosure from some aluminum laying around the garage. Otherwise Im waiting on the money tree to bloom again. Still need a pipe, X metal pole, and to decide on a pump. Im pretty much set on the MAXX pump in a 145 setback. After the customer service issues I had with Impros, Im not getting a skat pump.

can i see some pictures of the hole ski together? motor and everything?

Dig back a few pages, its all there. Tonight out of boredom I put my TL pickup plate and flywheel on and installed my coupler. Back on top of the decorative non working fireplace it goes until warmer weather comes. (yes, my motor is sitting in my living room, and my wife loves it....)

Back to getting this on the water.... Here are the plans to go with the new 8 mil powerplant

MAXX 145 setback, 13/19 -3 (any thoughts on modifying the 750 sx intake tunnel?)
Tom21 x-2 sponsons
ATP pole bracket
Xmetal pole
PFP exhaust if they are ever in stock again Or just get a b pipe and atp waterbox?

Here is my biggest issue, Im not the greatest at tuning, the motor is already jetted for a b pipe and I have a conservative total loss curve. If I go with a PFP exhaust Im going to be opening a can of worms for myself. There isnt really anyone around here I can think of to get it set up for me.

Made some progress on the hood modifications. I should have my carbon tomorrow. I have been debating lowering the hood a bit and rounding out the peak a bit. But for now I gutted the liner and added polystyrene foam to the edges and glassed it in. I'm going to do one layer of carbon on the inside for looks and wrap the outside for a little added strength. I guess I should make up my mind on lowering the hood before I go much farther.

Oh, and I found a cool trick for the liner. I used some lightweight biax cloth and spray adhesive, stuck it and pulled tight before a layer of resin. I did one paper thin transparent layer so I have something good to work off of when I put the carbon down. I got it as tight as a drum before wetting it out.

I doubt it saved much. But I'm confident it will be stronger. I put it in the paint booth at work today on the bake cycle, it was still a little wet this am. I need to find out how to remove resin from leather seats now...

Im ordering a power factor pipe this week, just have to decide who to buy it from. Any input? I want someone that will be there after the sale and give me some input on getting it set up.

I also got word from Maxx that my pump wont be started until april 9th.

Hopefully I will be wrapping the outside of my hood this weekend.
