I feel for all of you in the grip of the "polar vortex".
Grew up in the northeast. I don't miss it.
I can't really bitch, but it's here as well. 12 hour hard freeze tonight and tomorrow night. 24 at the beach. (colder inland)
Water temp was 60 yesterday. (30 miles north of Daytona). But this will surely drop it a bit. The last few years..the water temp at the freeride was 52 or 53.
We freeze a night or two each year. It's not unusual. It still sux.

I grew up in Michigan and can't imagine being up there right now. This past weekend water temperature was 70 at Sebastian Inlet with clean 2-3 foot overhead surf, sorry to rub it in but I do sympathize with Northerners now.

First world problems. It was 11* this morning and felt like 6*. In Georgia..... It was the coldest it's been in 20 years I think. I wish I had remote starts. But my car and truck are stick shift and I leave them in gear.

That weather is a blessing and a curse. I wish that we could trade half of your snow and we would give you 30 degrees warmer weather. California is in quite the drought. I guess everyone will have to ride surf if we dont get any precipitation...

Normally i don't mind the snow but this much is overwhelming i can't keep up with my driveway and don't get me started on the roads .Yesterday they shut everything down, only emergency vehicles were allowed on the roadways.
