i have duckbills i plan on installing... that'll take care of it for sure.

and there is either NO foam or pieces of solid foam in the tray... only reason you can actually hear the water inside...

I cant imagine there's NO foam..can you???

can you figure out where the water is coming from? scupper tube? steering cable tube? maybe around the exhaust flange??

duckbills are great, but dont like them for anything with internal fuel fill....if gasoline passes thru the bill it will cause it to swell up ALOT and leak water right in..

Thanks for all the props guys, been working on it most of the day. Got the pole together, Got the pole mount drilled & ready to go together. Both sides are in forced, going to do one more layer on the bottom.

(The Tray has Polystyrene foam, just install a drain.

Mine has no drains yet!!!!

Really polystyrene, that is super cool. Drill and hole and install some Sea Doo style drains, it's a 10 min fix. I just gained more respect for the Rickter, and my opinion was already pretty high!!

I'm thinking on mine (if there really is any) that is it loose... Everywhere I knock with my hand it sounds hollow.

yep - i have purchased two drains, just have not installed... once i drill, i'll report back.

but also note, my fs-1 is a 1st gen... this is a second... im sure MUCH better built!

I was very impressed how the hull was built. It sounds Hard when you knock on it. I just wanted to make it super strong, so more carbon layed down. Got all the Re inforcing down, Sides are 10.5 oz Carbon T400, Bottom has a 10in by 35in heavy Carbon mat T800 & another layer of the 10.5 oz Carbon on top. Tem (Superfreak) hooked me up with this high end Carbon.

Got the Trim & reduction nozzle together. Checkout Thrust Innovations new trim ring (Little lighter) looks really cool.

Tomorrow's Plan

Going to do the pump shoe in the morning, engine mounts, & hull hardward. Trip over to Chris's house for some small parts first thing & then back to the shop to finish it.

Looking good for a Monday Ride!

Thanks Guys for all the props, I'm going to have it inverted the first 15 minutes out! I might wait a few weeks to start beaching, stand time at least for Daytona!

I might have to bring the protection plate with me to the beach!

Off to the shop now, its very cold today. Just looked out side & my kids trampoline was covered with snow flakes. Its Florida!!!!!

Dan your going to take a spin!!!! Get ready!!

Did you have to order new longer tubes for your RRP?

That pole Brian let me use until my new Billet pole arrives. But yes he gave me a set of long tubes to make it fit the Rickter. He has them in stock, not sure if you need them on the Matrix. I'm going to make it a little longer, its short right now.
