I've got a Riva groovy ride plate that seems super long. I'm a flatwater guy and I'm thinking it might need a D cut or just hacked off. Anybody have experience with these?
im running one without anything done to it. hooks up nice and lets loose when needed, i like it without anything done. a D cut would probably be better.
I ran a groovy plate on my old square nose for years. Good all around plate. I would like to try one that has been chopped off flush. I haven't tried it yet on my RN.
I think im going to D cut mine about the size of half a coffee can. Ill let ya know how it rides in the spring. It feels to me that it is really pushing the nose down.
