^Ditto. Would love to see if someone has a fitting that works with the thrust fittings.
I had the same problem and taking cooling lines off to flush is inconvenient. I added "T", a valve and a round fitting to my ski. When I need to rinse I just open the valve and push my hose onto the fitting while it runs. It is hidden by the hood while riding.

Definitely, worst case is your pipe gets too hot but you notice pretty quick because it sprays into the tray.

I went away from the thrust fitting because of this issue. Just too much of a PITA.

trying to rig up a flattened fitting that would fit all 3 outlets. Left them in my Freak when I sold the hull. Went back with Round Pissers.

Necroposting, I know, but mcmaster (and surely others) sell self-closing water connections that you can put on the end of a T and then hook a garden hose to the mating connector. When connected, the path is open and water flows back to the T and everything upstream of it (block the pisser with your thumb or something). When disconnected, the path is closed. Anyway, it is less work than removing hoses each time, but isn’t perfect. I’ve gone to just using 180°F tolerant quick disconnects inline so I can pop it apart and backfeed directly (no T). It clearly reduces flow when running, but is not problematic for my climate, though I don’t have enough time on it to talk about reliability.
