The only thing that gets me is my buddy had an xscream 840 61x based motor with a solas 144 and a b pipe it hit way harder on the bottom than my 898.
Php 898 should be more than enough. But you definitely need TL on it. I rode a php 898 with pfp , TL 155 but It was on a carbon circus . It had more bottom end than my 1100 dasa. But maybe the hull had alot to do with it.
Why don't you help instead of "mine works idk what's wrong with yours".Here's a pic taken yesterday of my fat 240 lb ass on Zacks Circus. Shows the 898 has plenty of motor. Proper building is everything in an aftermarket ski. We test everything to make sure our customers get the best! Hope you can get it dialed Tim.
I was saying how the 898 works and is plenty strong to pull the pump. I don't do the tuning, that is Zack and he has helped Tim and will continue to I'm sure. Why don't you help instead of "mine works idk what's wrong with yours".
Well Phil Clemmons says my prop spins, Erik who built the engine says it spins, and Frosty, who has the same ski, but a 1000cc, said I need to go to a 155 pump!I agree with XJ, I run a 14/21 with 148 pump and Dasa 1200 in the same hull as you, but carbon and it seems pretty bang on.
If it were me, given how much you've spent on this ski and how important it is to get it right, I would road trip to PHP and ask them to set it up for you. They seem like great guys who'd help anyone, especially a customer.
