Can someone please tell me what tis is???

There is a brass tee off of my headpipe that looks like it goes into a checkvalve then into one of the headpipe screws??? any idea what this is for?? I bought the ski like this and the guy wasn't sure either!!

Looks like someone drilled out the middle adjuster screw and installed either a normal 1/4" hose barb or a water injection fitting there. Filter is there so the tiny hole wont clog.

Pull the hose and see what they got goin on there

X2 for this one, I have the same setup except I don't run a filter and mine was installed in a brass sleeve fitted thru the waterjacket.

I'm pretty sure that's set up like what we ran in our Seadoo race setup, a external water injection fitting installed in a plugged water jacket hole.
The filter is for any debris that might clog it. More than likely it will have a main jet tapped in it, you'll know as soon as you pull off the hose.
Using jets is a better way to have a pipe water bleed than screws anyways, a lot more precise.
