Girlfriend has Verizon Fios with their latest wiz-bang router that is supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread and still gets spotty wi-fi in certain areas of her house. It's installed in the basement next to a fireplace, next to her fuse box. Apparently the techs were too lazy to centrally locate it in her house. She has kids who will be remote learning and it is an absolute necessity that she has a strong signal that doesn't drop off while her kids are doing their zoom classes. Besides running a billion feet of ethernet cable to relocate her router, what little gizmo can I buy that is easy to install, that I don't have to be 'techy' to figure out, and that won't break the bank?
