Surfriding Daytona.....

So this is a long shot.... Is there anyone driving to Dayton that would pass through or near CO...? That could take me/ski/gear..? I would help with gas and driving....

I can't make the trip solo (Gas in my truck would cost about 1k) and I'm the only CO guy wanting to drive/take my ski... So.... I have my own hotel room btw so that's not an issue....

Thanks.. Any help..info.... Appreciated.... Really want to go.....

I wish I could drive it with you but there is no way I can take that much time off. Glen (Glory_Freestyle) and I have each driven it by ourselves, many years ago. It is brutal to go solo!

Anybody coming from Northern California or Pacific NW could possibly come thru Colorado. But I doubt many (if any) people are coming from that far...

Anybody you know from Texas that can meet you in Amarillo or something???

It's not so much the drive that's hard.. Just spending a grand in gas... Sucks..

And TX friends uhh... They are idk (up in the air nothing offical) But not going anywhere near Amarillo... So...

dude you will better off ship your ski here to one of us, will cost around $300 and you fly over will be cheaper then $1000.
just rent a car at the airport or post here that you might need a ride from the airport to Daytona, in daytona you wont need a car anyways

Thought about shipping, never done it, know nothing about it.... But I can fly for free... So that might not be a bad option...

hes not sure im going to daytona and from wichita. but im riding with a guy from okc if he can haul 3 skis you could drive to wichita and i haul yours to okc and he hauls ours. lol ill give him a call and pm u if he can help out

Well pretty sure I've said F it. I'm driving. GF got me a new ripcurl suit for Xmas and who am I to not put it to good use. See you guys in 3 weeks.

Find some joker on uship that's heading east and throw ur ski and gear in his truck then do the same thing on the flip. Prolly do the hole trip for gas money prices and won't have to drive a bit. You could load like 5 movies on an iPad and chill while he drives. That drive from Colorado is a beast! Good luck.
