When making a epic curve will it be possable to damage the motor with an overly aggressive curve? If so what care should be taken when making a curve?
nobody wants a retarded motor lol in the epic thread waxhead posted a really good curve I believe it was 32* static off the bat then falls off around 4500 or so.I forgot also to ask can you damage your motor by retarding your curve as well

It was more of a general question, I'm getting a curve from Xmetal might play with it after, but I would also like to run a retarded curve for hood tricks, just don't want to damage my new set-up
I have my own terminology lol, so for this thread let's use the terminology retardingYou may just be getting mixed up in your terminology. To tame down a curve, you are not retarding it, just not advancing it as far. Static timing is something like 21deg.

Pump gas and I have no idea Xmetal is setting everything up
if you have to ask that question, you shouldn't mess with it. if xmetal sent you a tune it's prolly pretty close to being dialed in.
How does anyone learn anything if they don't ask any questions? Gotta start somewhere.
Just play with it, you will know when you went to far, just listen to the motor & see how it feels.... I wouldn't go any further than 34-35 advance... Have fun with it
