Filling Crossover

What do you guys use to fill it in and where can I buy some.

Going to do this to a stock intake mani on a 62T 61x with stock 38's. Single fuel pump.

I believe its just increased carb signal. You don't lose the signal through the crossover. When one piston is sucking in a fresh fuel/air charge it will only pull through that cylinder's carb instead of sucking through both. It allows for more precise carb metering, and a bit easier tuning.

Another related question, if you don't mind motoman... Do you need to run the plate between the reeds and manifold if you have a filled crossover?
