Freeride new to me

Many years i have been trying to find a freeride spot in finland.. now i did=) nice bay and nice wave not barrel ones but biggest i have ride ever.. after second ride i did my first backflip!!! Coolest feeling ever!!!!

So i did sell my big freestyle engine and bought new stock 701 for my setup. I didnt want to brake my tpe in there. Maybe when im better surf rider i could buy big engine again but stock for me now.
But its not complete stock setup. I have 144magnum (solas) thrust ez trim, 48 novis, bpipe, atp waterbox (that barrel like) vforce 3, msd tl, and blowsion cylinder head.
Hull is -2" - 4" rockered superjet( i can change the lenght by 2" with rideplate and these corner plates)
Pole is diy pole i made (add picture later) it is mounted to rrp pole bracket so it has breather tubes.

So what im after is few pointers from those who know surf..

- would you change something from my setup?

- how do people use trim in there.. i feel like i lose my speed when i have to let go of throttle to use trim..

-sponsons maybe? Or wider bottom.. i dont like how my mod sj runs in surf its too narrow to stand and after jump it sink too much. Did try my friends Furtif hull (rickter like from france) it was shorter and wider it did not sink like sj and after jump when i get up again it didnt ride nose hing . But i think i neet to learn more about surf before i buy freerde hull. So now i need to mod my hull more so ican use it

-when the time is right what hull should i get? I want to use same hull in lake too for boat hunting and for fun riding.. i have stock superjet with 760 and bpipe to use for long distance rides.

Well there is few guestions for start..
Cant wait for summer... so stoked about that place=) 1-3meter wave after wave and about 30meter distance between them=)

Thanks :)

So i though too no trim is best:)
Handle pole is about -12" from stock.. Not sure. But it feels good now:)

Why need to keep eye on msd in surf? I have this setup that coils, starter relay and msd brain are in waterproof box.. But should i protect that brainbox even better from hits or vibration?

No worries about vibration just the maintaining a sealed electrical system so that there's no salt water conduction between or around your electrical connections. Check, double check and triple check for loose or frayed wires.
I would check the SS assembly and thoroughly bathe it with di-electric grease. Salt water wreaks havoc on ignitions that have any wiring exposed.

But good thing about our ocean is that there is half the salt you guys have.. there is so little openig to atlantic that rain and river water makes it very mild. Near fresh water when close to shore.. but still saltwater tho so i need to keep that out of my electrics.. ive burned few msd so current model is built to last.. hope so...
