that bike will make you fast quick!

that's a fun bike to have. i wouldn't mind having a beater 125 to practice on.

it will make you corner like a madman because you have to stay on the pipe. your corner speeds will be sick when you get it right!

i love it

I went and rode at a local track saturday. And i must say this is one of the favorite bikes i have ever rode.It corners great and jumps amazing! The bike really brought the balls out in me,i was easily clearing huge doubles and tables and step-ups like they were nothing. It has a very ridable power band.It will stand up and stay up as long as you want.I just hit a burn in 2 or 3rd gear, clutch it and it shoots out like a rocket. This bike rocks!

The most fun I had was on a cr 125. Then the dealer had a sale on carry over cr 450's (this was 1985). I traded up and regreted it.

my boss just picked up a beater yz125 for us.. he found an '06 yz125 for 1k and scooped it up for us to beat on.. i cant wait to ride it!!!!

125's are fun bikes for sure.. you gotta post some pics up of you hitting them doubles!

awesome my first big bike was an 01 KX125 got back in october of 2000. it was definetly a fun bike to have. It was pretty reliable and you can learn so much on it.

Saki, I had an 05' YZ125 and all I can tell you is don't get to attached to it. 05 and up YZ125's have the hardest hitting powerband on any 125 and they are light as hell. You will be surprised how much power it has. Mine had mild porting, factory fatty, and stock silencer and the mid-top on that bike was OUT, when I had it I could pull holeshot in 125B (now it would be 250B cause of AMA) with no problem. Awesome bike...sometimes I regret selling it to get my CRF450.

Nice bike! That yz for 1000 is a steal! When I had a 125 and a 250 2 stroke at the same time the 125 dident get ridden that much. The 250 just makes riding easier and more fun. But I rode a 125 for a while before I even rode a 250 at all and its deffinetly good practice. You learn to keep momentum.
