Other Hard water spots on black paint need help!!!!

So i have a new superjet that is all black, its looks great when its all clean but not the smartest color for water spots, and there lies my problem. I bought this ski and like an idiot put it in the water with out waxing it down or spraying a light over coat on it. so i have all these hard water spots all over! so whats the best way to remove the water spots? any ideas?

^^ 10:1 water to vinegar. Spray on wipe off, they will be gone. Used it on my black car for years.

To clean it, use spammyspam 2 with a good soft cloth (no paper towels). That stuff works wonders...way better than any thing else I've tried. I clean everything with it...started using it for cleaning coin operated pinball playfields.

But no matter what, it won't stay clean without religious waxing. Do what i do whenever buying a new car: remove the license plate and scratch the bumper with a screwdriver, put license plate back on. There, it's not perfect anymore. Now ride it like you stole it.

Ya ive tried vinager and wax but not turtle wax. so ill have to go out find some. ya its a legit 2012. found it in arizona thats were i baked on the water spots.

Never-dull. its a metal polish but it takes water spots off anything. ive never had a problem with it on any paint on cars so id assume itll be fine with gel coat.

Porter cable, semi cutting pad, and some type of sythentic wax made for oxidation and light scratch removal. Dawn it beforehand.

Get proper MARINE wax like Collinite. Automotive wax won't last more then a few rides. After every ride I wipe down with ONR and never have a water spot.

honestly... don't bother with water spots... it's painted single stage black not gelcoat... first time mine hit the water i had some good white scratches coming through... but if you still really care about water spots, get it wet, keep it wet for 30mins or so, wipe it dry, hit it with some swirl free compound then wax it, and repeat after every ride... its black, there is no hope(yea i know it looked so nice when you bought it, so did mine)

I think you are correct that it is paint. I had a jan or 2012 in the shop for holds and turf and under the back corners it was chipping and flaking off already. didnt see any primer in it but the hull is black smc so any scratches at least should be dark underneath.

hard water spots are evil plain and simple.

IMG_0314.jpg This was given to me from a friend, the stuff works great ! he found it at a 99 cent store locally .we think it works so well because the alkaline properties (probably vinegar or ????) not sure what its made of ,probably Chaldean goat piss ? don't know but it works great ,the goat piss really knocks out water spots !!!! but me personally (if i'm feeling it) it gets a wipe down with a towel after each ride and its ready to go again ...
