How does the shredmaster compare to say a riva groovy?

I've only tried the riva groovy a few times and it was on a friends FX with a much different setup. I liked it but haven't really spent enough time on one to form an opinion. The shredmaster does track straighter and plane off quicker than anything else I've tried. And it still feels like you're standing on a floating log which I like. I considered grinding off the 3 little fins on the bottom but it's still easy to break the back end loose so I left them on. I'd probably dig the groovy more for flatwater freestyle. I take it you have the spacer between the rear of the after-burner pump cone body and the back of the pump? (.175" spacer)

Yeah thanks! She was supposed to come out but I'm glad she didnt cause I got to ride her 550. Damn I love that thing! I definetly wanted to tackle Hornedogg and steal his tour coat. My arms were stiff as boards when we got finished. Jon and I got to witness some guys practicing for the Championship of Redneck Boat Loading. They were true clowns and hogged the ramp for a good 20 min. HAHA! BTW, I bet I know what busted that head for ya! Cant wait to see that Monster in the water this weekend Horne!

Well, they had the boat pulled up to the ramp.... they just couldn't figure out how to back the trailer under it! haha. IF don would get his ass over to my house and turf my ski while I'm at work I could ride sooner.:scratchchin: Last night I installed a battery, hooked it up to a water hose, poured a little fuel in, and primed my lines. Motor turned over maybe 3 revs before coming to life and idling beautifully. no hiccups, sputters... nothin. Sounds so good! Deep tone @ relatively quite volume. I've only blipped the throttle a little to keep the plugs from loading up. Can't wait to let this thing eat.
