Freestyle How do you 360?

I ride bmx I can 720 on my bike I'm sure I can spin a ski I just bought my first rn sj and started shredding on it I can 180 maybe 200 should I carve befor I hit the wave or as soon as I hit it ? And what do u guys do for tuck no handers do u tighten up you're pole or leave her lose ?

Lots of questions.....

I'm no expert on 360's but i'll try to help, but need some info.
Are you strictly flatwater riding? If so, I would think a setup wake would help.
Also, have you modded your steering to get more throw? That would help dramaticly.

You mention "wave" so I assume you're trying to throw off something larger than a setup wake. There was a thread (I think in the footrocket section) where a guy was throwing massive 360s in the surf. From what I remember, you carve, similar to how you would for a barrel roll, but you leave the wave already turning. Your weight should be forward to keep the ski 'flat' during the spin.

As far as tightening your pole, be careful if you have a stock pole and pole bolt. The base of the pole will crack. The Xmetal pinch bolts work well to tighten up the pole.

Mosty flat but I have a few larg boats kicking some good waves so ethier one I have a umi pole and umi steering . What do you mean by more throw ? And thanks for the help dudes
