install sponsons before reinforcing

just got sponsons for the ski and plan on reinforcing at the same time so which should i do first?

do the sponsons first, tubbies im guessing your talking about, bc if you 5200 and screw them in you will have to cut the screws that go thru the hull than sand down everything and reinforce after.

Reinforcing is a great- take your time though and make sure the hull surface is really dry and clean

Like everybody before, re enforce prior to install the tubbies. You'll need to cut the screws. In addition, you'll be able seal the screw holes when you lay your glass on the inside.

I've heard about people leaving their ski floating over night with tubbies, and have it sunk full of water the next morning from the tubbie screw holes leaking.
