IS it true

when you are winterizing your Jet ski , you are most likely fogging your engin, is it true that your spark plug need to be replace after ,

Nope. I fog all my skis after every day of riding. I only replace my plugs at the beginning or each season and that’s it. I never foul plugs even when we go from sea level and ride in the Sierras at 5,000’.

Depends on where and how the ski is stored. Getting all of the water out is all that is required if using TCW3 oil. Adding additional oil never hurts and for many probably a good idea.

You don't even need to winterize a ski it just needs to be absolutley bone dry before you store it. Plugs are a replace first part. Buy a bunch of them and have them on hand as needed

There is no way to get all the water out of the waterbox so you are always going to have condensation in the exhaust and that goes directly into the cylinders. Fogging is easy cheap insurance although few actually do it. I probably take it to the extreme but it helps me sleep at night.

So then just leave the spark plugs out so the cylinders don't contain the moisture?
FYI I live in AZ, we don't have moisture or winter around here so I'm just taking guesses lol

Not sure...
I live in California and blow my skis out really well and just with the temperature changes from day to night we get ,plus fog on the coast I have seen condensation on my sparkplug electrodes so I fog just because I am paranoid.

Fogging oil coats the internals of the engine with oil so that moisture doesn't rust bearings/cylinders, etc. I fog through the carb and also directly in the cylinder, then put plugs back in.

you are right there is always water left on the waterbox ,

Anytime you run way more oil than a plug can burn, you run the risk of fouling plugs. I foul plugs once in a while on everything from my XS1200 to my 701s. I just stuff them in the bead blaster for 2 seconds and they are usually good as new. I just put 2 bead blasted ones in my xs1200 and it fixed the running on 1 cly prob. I would have used new but my glove box was empty of new
