Dj - thanks so much 4 posting those pics! It's hard being new to a sport and knowing who's who...now I know whom it is I pray for. Quite impressive...he obviously has much positive energy (spirit) and self-discipline, all things he needs, and will use right now in addition to everyone's love and prayers.

Suz...I'm just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to Joe's friends...but I'm the vocal one and the one the family asked to pass solid info on the the masses as we all know sometimes info can get accidentally twisted, which can be unintened but hurtful.
Please keep Joe's family, his mom Jaquie, his brother Shawn, his step dad, his girl Alix, and some of the most amazing friends and support system I've ever seen in your thoughts and prayers during this time too. Taylor Curtis has been a mountian of a man we're all leaning on heavily. Talk about a true friend to Joe. Nick DelGeorgio, the entire crew in SLO/MB and A Town, as well as their better halves have been there all along. I know it's breaking Laurel's heart to not have been able to see Joe (she was ill this weekend and didn't want to get Joe sick too). Jenn, Ross, Jerry and so many others around the world have been burning up the cell lines at all hours with me checking on his progress....all just so touching. Simply great folks.
At this time, all we can do is show our love and concern for Joe and his family by sending as much good mojo and happy, positive thoughts his way as possible.
Thanks to all who have emailed, PMed and called offering assistance and support. You know who you are (and I'm too strung out right now to try and list them) and for all the love you folks are showing, I feel confident I speak for all of us when I say "Thank You. It means the world to us".

You made my son's birthday last year at the FreeRide. You gave him hats, shirts, and stickers. His favorite was the hat you signed and gave to him, and he loved you posing on his ski for a few pics. Don't give up. Hang on in there. You still owe me that surf ride lesson.
