Seller Notes:“has missing girdle head nut. mismatched head bolts half of them are hex key other half 13mm.”
Part Brand: Yamaha Warranty: No

62T engine superjet factory B Pipe Msd Enhancer CDI with adjustable rpm limit. Comes with complete electronics box. Coil, Regulator, solenoid, etc.
Disclaimer: Ran when put away few years ago. i have recently hone the cylinders. Warning MSD CDI boxes are notorious for failure. Replaced many times. It has Wiseco pistons with low hours.I run premium gas with amsoil or yamalube. Compression may be off by a few psi im guessing it would need broken in after i honed it. Port work has been done on top and bottom end as well iirc. This thing is LOUD can be heard from miles away. No water box setup, you can use your waterbox to baffle it some. Somebody preset and cut off the screws for the factory B Pipe. I believe you can buy new ones. Carbs should be gone through. Crank seals have low hours as well. I think this engine has made a few podium finishes in scat trak world finals back in late 90s. Given to me as a gift.

i have Described this item to best of my knowledge Please no Returns business is not my way of living. I dont want to sell this but need the money.

On Nov-29-12 at 12:58:37 PST, seller added the following information:Update 11/29/2012. I had someone try to jump the starter to test the compression but he could not get it to turn over. I don't know if he had bad ground or if the starter is bad. I have not tried to start this engine for 3 years but i can promise it had compression. It is not the same girdle head i used to have but my old head had 180-185 psi. Starter could be bad and unfortunately i only have a bunch of broken starters laying around. Again i have had the top end apart and inspected pistons installed gasket kit and new girdle head about 3 months ago.

Interesting indeed. When you have a "bad starter" for a motor or ski for sale that won't turn over it's usually a seized motor. Especially when you have a bunch of "junk starters" laying around that won't turn over a motor. I always loved that description for skis on Craigslist! "just needs a starter"...
Who would cut off all the setscrews on a headpipe when they use a jam nut to lock in place then usually seize there anyway?
