I think my problem was, I thought that if I went real high I would have a lot of time to finish the flip. Turns out if you don't have the rotation it doesn't matter if you are 4 feet up or 14... The higher you go the more stuff you break though I guess. I did have my battery fly around inside the ski a few times as well... One battery welded itself to one of my ADA studs.Nice!
I've been lucky, I've tried about a half dozen off boat wakes down in Texas and have pancaked every freakin one of them. I was told that ONE time I went past halfway, maybe 2/3 but not a nose it. Can't believe I haven't had any motor mount carnage. Worst think that happens to me is that my battery goes flying around the bilge pinching throttle cables, etc.
