Long Island summer 09

bunch of helmet cam vid i slapped together from this summer.

some marsh riding, jumping boat wakes, small surf and big surf.

the biggest stuff was hurricane bill. 7-10 footers out there.

pinnacle effed up the sound a bit. i may reformat it again and save it for better quality.

i still have two tapes of footage on my handheld camcorder from the beach that i haven't even watched yet. maybe ill get that stuff edited in a week or two.

i wish i figured out how to mount the cam better, and use lithium batteries earlier in the season to get better shots. i must have brought that helmet cam out 10 times and got no footage with it.

nah i don't think she took many pics that day. for some reason she thought i said only take pics of me. so she has pics of me wrenching.:thumbsdown:

ill ask her to send over what she has. i think she just gave the cam back to her aunt though.

i think im on the cam for about 5 minutes till i wore myself out and started throwing up.

yeah but it was a little far away.

he wasn't used to the camera so it took him a little while to find out which side of the wave to be on and where to be to get good shots.

it would be a whole lot easier to film from a blaster or a couch. its hard to get good stuff in big surf on a standup.

i can probaly edit that stuff from sunday on wednesday afternoon. i might just wait till we ride again thursday though so there is a little more footage. i want to try a real roll too instead of these 360 nose stabs.
