no matter how many times I tell him I probably won't be moving the trailer this weekend - he won't get it through his head.

so - I think I'll have him laying sod instead.

bureaucratic SNAFU!

water MIGHT be turned on tomorrow (I should know in the morning). I have no idea when electricity will be installed - I have to wait for Entergy to drop their pole on my lot, then wait for them to come hook up my meter pole, which is already in place.

I may go ahead and try to get the deck and shed moved, and move the trailer next weekend.

in any case - I do have so tasks that could be completed this weekend:

Spread bermuda seed on our lot and pray for rain
mark locations for blocks to support deck and trailer stabilizers
cut some cribbing to use to move the deck - (mick bring your chainsaw)
possibly move deck and shed.

if water gets turned on tomorrow - then putting down 4-5 pallets of sod will be on the list too.

no gennie. NONE of the RV's I looked at had an onboard generator.

Power is to run the fridge and A/C while I'm there. If I move it now - I can run the fridge on LP gas until power is hooked up.

there was a house removed up the street - last weekend all the pilings were still there - 12x12 and about 10' long.

I figure we need several pieces about 2'-3' long in order to use jacks to lift the deck and get a trailer under it.

my stihl chain saw does not cut treated timber. We wont need a trailer to move that thing anyway. I have a plan.

You should hire someone that know's what their doing....

no - he's supposed to contract it out.

Mick saying "I have a plan" makes me all twitchy and nervous.

F you charlie wannabe's. My plans always work! :highhorse:

Penguin, all you have to do is make sure there are some nice waves for us after I move the porch/deck/dock. Oh and have lots of water/diet beer/ect.

i know nobody wants to hear this but, what about a lake somewhere that would be more centrally located?

Well since Labor day houses are booked and not available.. Its moved to Sept 18-19-20

You guys need to chime in on a location. CB or Surfside?

Calypso at surfside is open this weekend 1700.00 bucks. X 22 peeps = 77 bucks each person

Well thats the day I plan to show up.
Ill bring my big tent and A/C-n-generator if I have to.
