I was thinking that if you're going to the trouble of manufacturing a new cover, you might want to make it interchangeable between the charging and total loss setups just by replacing a front access panel.
You could have one round flat access panel to remove the flywheel and adjust the stator without removing the front cover for the charging setups. The other TL front access panel could be adjustable with timing degree marks that hold the trigger pickups on the backside. Also, the front cover could stay in position and the timing could be easily checked or adjusted by removing or rotating the access plate.
I would consider purchasing a couple if the price was reasonable and it had some neat usable features.
