I know I am about to get bitchslapped from every direction but I don't own a ski (although I love to ride some stand ups) but will a skateboarding thread ever be considered so I can have a little corner to talk about something that I know?

The riot board was about action sports and its lifestyle.
people would check it out for different reasons. Some came for MX, some for skate, bmx, crazy links, and some came for the chicks.
For whatever reason they visited, they would end up checkin out the jet ski's as well. Thats exposure! :biggrin:

ronny, i certainly agree there. exposure, indeed.
riot was/is/whatever great for jet skiing exposure when found through riot radio.
conversly, to have a link on a (lets call it wants-to-look-wholesome) jetski related website (the X) and have a link to riotradio (full of porn) from it kinda kills the "positive" image that is trying to be perceived.

Most action sports like to portray a wholesome/family image. We all know in reality thats not the case. A good ammount of riders in all action sports are quite the opposite. :cool2:

Its too late to change the name of the ride. This will be the last time Lanier will be called the "Riot Ride" though.
Since riot radio had nothing to do with the organization of Lanier, we will not include it as a contributer.
I was representing riot during most of the organization of the ride. I had lots of help form people, (mainly MILF) but no assistance from Evan (riot radio) other than front page info. Which still says the event is at jet ski cove btw.
We decided to move it to the campground at last years event. It only makes sense to have it where the rider actually are hanging out and riding.
So you can probably understand. I've been Phased out of riot, so I dont want Evan to take credit for all the work weve done to put this thing together.
Thats why Riot Radio gets no credit for the lanier ride.
