keep it up. Looking good.
DOH!! Oh yea.....so one hose clamp and out comes the entire assembly.
I was thinking why not just weld it and ditch the coupler!!
you need flexibility in that spot according to FP. I asked about using another type of coupler and they said that coupler provides a flexing point and any stiffer material would cause problems...
Flexibility for install purposes?
Why would it need to flex under operation?

Ah ha. I see. That makes sense.
Man I wish I could just weld them together but that would kill resale value and I guess its not necessary anyway.
I am an admitted known wrench hater!!:crying:
But this was worth it!! Just wanna make sure its as good as it can be so I don't have to wrench for 30 seconds or a minute or so.
I need to write them!!
Jeff said this is the first and only Superjet conversion evny.

Yea the lack of locater pins makes it feel odd but mine lined up perfectly with the shims Jeff said to use.
Smurf made me perfect .125 shims from bar stock with a hole drilled to match my bolts.
This whole ski pretty much went right together but I moved like a snail and quadruple checked everything twice and still made a couple minor mistakes.
Thanks Rich. I am ready to help anyone build anything now. Everyone helped me so much that I know this Winter is gonna be hell in my garage!!
Just no more grinding/sanding carbon inside!!!!
I see at least 3 refoam jobs going down though:ugh2::dead1::grumble:
Oh and I will be on the water Sat or Sunday.
