My next AR Build

Picked up this Spikes upper and lower as well as this 15" Matrix Aerospace rail. The upper, lower and rail are cerakoted "sniper" grey and actually looks cool. A company in Jacksonville, FL did the cerakoating and did a great job. For the lower I have a Colt LPK going in as well as an A2 butt stock. As far as the barrel I haven't made up my mind. Probably a 16" mid length but I haven't made up my mind yet. Not sure if this one will be scoped or just have iron sights. We will see.

I really like the rail due to weight. I think it's going to look good on the rifle. Maybe a ss barrel? Who knows.

I'm going to take my time with this one and see if I can find a good deal on a barrel and BCG as well as keep this build under $600.

Looks good, how was the fit on the spikes upper and lower?

It went together perfectly and the fit and finish was very good. I sold it about a year ago but I wish I would of kept it.

I sold it to the son of a buddy of mine that was in basic training. I was glad to sell it. I’ll just build another one
