Nice pics from everyone! Odd we don’t have more already, as someone mentioned in some thread. My camera finally died while out riding today, so it’s time to get another one before the next meet! It was on its last leg at Tona, so I’m editing them up the best I can (much is out of focus, and I’m forced to go “artsie” more times than not, but it’s still fun). Yes, I do tend to focus in specifically on only one or two riders each meet it seems…no idea why really! I did try to snap at least one pic of everyone this meet though, no matter what they were doing.
I had my chance to ride those two pretty skis (Frankenstein and Bad Fish), but no! I was a ditzi deva wanna be, waiting for bigger surf that pre-Sunday. I could kick myself now Torr, since it was so warm and pretty outside!
Flash-FX (SO, terrible at names, and I SHOULD know it by now) and Carl (Hoggman) are two of my favorite riders to watch obviously. I call them “The Sexa Riders” (lol). I simply enjoy their natural laid back, yet explosive, style. Joe B. didn’t make it either, did he? Eddie (LBE) has the same style with icing. I’m extremely surprised I haven’t seen more pics of him honestly! Every time I would hear an “oooh-ahhh”, I’d turn around quickly, and he was the one airborne, usually inverted!
I always like the riders that look like they belong (casual/fluid)…seemingly one with the surf; nothing appears forced, even when it is! Their approaches are consistently smooth, as are their ride-outs. For me, they are simply relaxing to watch, yet impressively exciting at the same time (I could snap pics ALL day long). Sheer power in an instance, the full, non-rushed extensions…holding it out to the very last possible moment (no fear and intense focus)…it’s much like gymnastics to someone such as myself. Whether it’s aerials or surf-riding…I love it all! Capturing the bails or multiple people inverted simultaneously are the best though!! Here’s a few posts with some of Eddie's pics, but hopefully someone else with a good camera did him justice, for I didn’t (unless there is another memory card somewhere, like I’m thinking).
Mr. Madscientist – you best hide that infant if I make it to your meet, or she will be baby-knapped! :love:

Oh Matt thanks (and I'm sooo upset I have still yet to meet you). I'm pretty upset over it myself, but it's a Cannon Rebel E05. SOMEBODY (lol) told me at the afterparty that it "just stopped taking pics"! :censored: The professional French photographers that were on site (VERY nice people) told me it had been dropped (again, lol). Oh well!

Matt, I was told you are pretty good with the camera stuff. I was to send it off to corporate after the Addiction Party (Wolfe camera dropped it); but I haven’t been able to part with it for a “minimum of four weeks”...I’ll simply die (hush Penqui, :kabong:LOL)! It’s become beyond sand trashed in the meantime too. I can’t get a soul around here to clean it without sending it out somewhere. Why not?
The French magazine photographers said the ring on the camera itself is bent (I can’t use the 300mm zoom now, for it won’t attach), and recall the mirror is glued in too, LOL. This is all I could get at the lake yesterday with the 55mm (not to trash up the Tona thread, but pro wakeboarder, and missed the 3rd ranked female skier for attempting to switch out to the mandatory 300mm)!! Everything is even grainier than those shot at this recent meet. Isn’t there somewhere that will touch a Cannon, besides corporate? With the things the techs behind the counter said before this last meet, I'm not too hopeful there (said it was bad).
