Protec trim question

What is this piece and where does it mount? I figure the piece on the far left is where the cable housing sits and the two bolts adjust where the cable housing stop is located but what is the rest of that stuff and where does it go?

Nevermind... I see the big hole mounts to the back pump mounting bolt and the other hole is for the spring since pro-tec designed this as an up trim...

I hate that little thing. Im going to find a way to not use it. It limits the trim a lot, Ive cut some more room in the little slot near the cable housing, but i only gained like 3 degrees. Im going to take my reduction nozzle to a welder and have him weld 2 new boss's 20mm back and 4mm up to get more throw out of the system.

It actually can be used as a drop nozzle too, just flip everything around. Thats how it was when I got my ski, so I just flipped everything around.

Don't forget that more trim angle means less height. If you don't have to height to get the nose around, it doesn't matter how fast you're rotating.

do you have any pictures? im very interested to see how ppl are doin this

these are the only pictures i have of it. i also had to make a bracket so that my steering cable would be long enough.
