R&D Dome help

Hey guys

I have this R&d head. It was on the ski when I bought it 3 weeks ago. Crank blew on the 4th ride.....

I can't fine these domes anywhere. The guy boring my cylinders said he could touch them up and it would be fine to run

But what size are they?? They seem to say 23. Or is it 32? Either way my compression should've been way over 200. It was 150 when I bought it.



Also I'm trying to figure out why the motor went.... could this be why?

Those look like 84mm domes 32cc.
You are measuring the outside of the dome.

If they are 32 should I run them and check comoression?

Can I have the machine shop who will clean the dome up change them to 38ish cc?

The machine shop can widen the squish band to 85mm and mill down the pitted surface. All of that work will change and raise the cc #'s
