Surfriding Shorty and rockered hx

Let me start by saying I have been an hx fan for many years. I havnt had one for a while now though but came across a free hull. I was just going to do a 787 swap but then saw carterb's rocker kit and it made me want to experiment and build a shortened and rockered hx with a 787 power plant. I have a r&d head factory pipe spec 2 and msd ignition. Also have new crank and rods, new pistons, and cylinders. So fare I have just tore the ski down and removed the front inner liner area. Waiting for my rocker kit from carterb. Once it arrives it will be time to cut and mold in the nose peice. Here are some pics I have up till now. Also I have motor mounts to glass in and get the motor aligned first.

Interested to see how Carters nose fits your hull... I know it's a thin layup so you can shape it. I want to see this thing upside down but your messed up pics don't count

Idk if I can go yellow, I might but I was kind of thinking a bright red pearl and pearl white combo but that's still far down on the list. Gotta get the motor mounts in and nose kit on before I can even think of paint colors but those are still always on my mind. Also the nose peice will def get more support once fitted to the ski. I have found ways to take close to 12 inches out of the length of the ski without completely changing the look of the ski.

I half expect WFO to come in here and claim that he already did this.
I think it's a pretty cool project, the HX looks way better than a WB1, good to see people doing something different.
