AS much as I LOOOOVE a good 351C they are not at all IMO a good 200k+++ truck motor.

for those of you interested in a 4 wheel drive and take a look at the o3 and newer Express 1500 AWD. I have had a Quigley and now have 04 all wheel drive and the all-wheel-drive is every bit as good if not better in the snow and sand. a torsion bolt extension an air shocks has me running 33 by 12.5 tires with no rub. And getting 15 mpg anywhere I go. Best part is you normally find them for no more than six to seven thousand mine I actually picked up for 4000.

I wonder what would be the easiest route start with a van a retro fit or start with a beat up truck. My 250 doesn't have a straight panel or section not scratched. But just now hit 90k everything Is real solid just looks bad

i think an old f-250 would be a good donor truck. the f-150's had that stupid sideways swingarm frontend on them. a solid axle truck with a good transfer case and tail housing that will bolt up to your transmission. then buy their kit and other miscellaneous parts.
EDIT: remembered, its called a "wishbone" front end on the older 150's

I have a 1 ton 250 version basically. All the good stuff without dual wheels but same axle

This is before I cleaned it up And replaced all clutch components. Hard to believe but in this pic it only has 82k on it. Not bad for a. 96
I think it would make a great camper toy hauler if I ever get around to it. So many projects already.

Those are good trucks, generally a 351, 460 or even the everlasting 7.3 turbo diesel. That is a VERY good donor truck for your van. Trans and transfer case may work, along with the axle, brakes and hubs. I've been looking for a 4 door long bed dually k30 Chevrolet to drop my cummins in. They're harder to find than one would think.

What sized skis are you putting in it? My Rickter and RNSJ did not fit very well together in my extended quigley E250. You could def make it work, but they do not fit nice like 2 FX1's in the Mafia's setups. I've since gone down to one ski and there is no better hauler than a quigley.

Not as bad as you would think. I believe he has painted it now so I'm sure price has gone up last one he told me
Was under 10k buddy price. I assure no expense spared on this rig. Has more worth in dynamate then a couple my trucks would bring. I Just can't justify the price for basically a toy. He'll of a truck though.

Not a toy for me, I have a small car for commute. I'd use it for my long trips. Free rides and pull my enclosed trailer. It's hard enough to find the body of that truck. Wish I could buy it. I'd scoop it up for what he's asking. But my old lady would kill me. I'd have 3 skis, 2 trucks, a car, my supermoto, 3 trailers and all my guitars. She doesn't have anything cool. LOL. Plus it would delay her ski I'm building her. THREAD JACKER HERE

and its a diesel, probably nonturbo. but banks makes a turbo kit for the nonturbo'd 7.3's that thing would be the bomb and it really isnt so bad of a price
