which would be.... i have a new gasket on it already and the manifold was not used..... only other thing i can think of is either taking the manifold to a piece of glass and sandpaper or doubling up the gasket

Take it apart and find why it is leaking.
Are both mating surfaces clean?
Is the gasket good?

brand new gasket, both mating surfaces were clean, all bolts are tight, and i removed the old gasket that was on the manifold before putting the new gasket on.

I'd take it off, put gasket sealer on both sides of the gasket, and put it back together.
