I personally used the Pro Watercraft Racing ride plate and Watercross of Texas double scoop grate.

Phenomenal hookup, but, the double scoop grate probably lowered tip top speed. Opted for better cornering and chop hook vs straight line speed.

Anyone running R&D intake and TBM ride plate on 08+ SJ ?
If so what are your thoughts on this setup?
Similar to above or your talking the big rd grate. Great hook up but down on top speed

Best for speed, assuming new, is the worx 228. The one with cutout.
Same grate can be found under 5-8 different names in the 90’s
Jetpro might of had the exact design first.
Toughest grate? Skat/Blowsion stainless copy

Yes that’s a good aggressive grate. Great hookup. Down in pure speed but if your racing short rough course thats a decent choice. The real long start or first straight courses you want most speed as possible.
