Yeah, fixing the bilge outlet (non functional) would require glass work.
That bilge is part of the abortion that was this hull when I bought it.















On a side note, I'm kinda surprised nobody commented on my last story. Maybe ya'll are over my stories.

So here's the schedule.

Ride Sunday, then come home, start tearing it down.
I find a certain amount of irony in the fact that I will have one ride on my new paint job before I call the season done and start cutting. The good news is, I have stuff to do.

I keep forgetting to place my order with US Composites. Hopefully I remember on Monday. I once I get the the hull emptied out I can start cutting I guess. Hmm...


Maybe I should get out my good camera and a tripod. Seems to be the big build up everyone has been waiting for. Oh yeah. I need to weigh it.

Rode today as planned. Had big fun. 73 degrees, water was almost glass, no wind, sunny. Even had a few good boats!
Did good and added stabil to the remaining fuel before I packed it up and fogged the motor when I got home. Gotta protect my ridiculous investment.

9/15 seemed to run fine. Didn't notice any cavitation, but I didn't notice a lot more 'pop' either. So I dunno.

Paint looks great, wax worked great, barely had to wipe it off when I finished up. Hopefully tomorrow I remember to order my composites, and I need to make a list of the stuff I want to do.

All in all, good day. Excited to cut the hull.

Not as awesome as the first, ( eye el oh el'd) but I'm flattered that someone would make a pic for me, so definitely preeshiated.

So why are you quoting the 'cut the hull' bit? For your your use or to hold it over my head if I don't follow through? Either answer is fine, just want to make sure I understand.

Ok, update!
Placed my order with US composites today. I talked to a guy at sollar composites and he said the full sheet of Kevlar and the thick carbon I'm using is probably over kill. So I dialed back to the 6" Kevlar tape. I think I ordered 6 yards. Gonna order my CF from Sollar tomorrow.
