One suggestion here and this is how Yamaha does it on the couches, take a small plastic cup, like a jello shot cup, fill it full of epoxy and cabosil then stick it down over the insert, Yamaha uses the green glue of death, epoxy cabosil should work just as well. It seals the insert to the hull and supports it very nicely.

WFO, i'm not worried about the chop, but what to do with the rear most ride plate threaded holes etc.
I think i'll put them where a SN middle hole would be, that way I can continue to use (and future owners can use) standardized ride plates.














I just got an idea...

In case anyone else wants to see this idea. More people should link to threads where they got an idea from. So much good info in build threads and its so hard to sift through them all.


Little baby update. I ordered my carbon fiber from Soller Composites.

Ok... Updates!

Weighed the ski. Before I post up the results, lets take a poll on what everyone thinks it weighs. If someone guesses within 5lbs, they get a prize shipped to their door. Fo'serious.

There was about a gallon of fuel in the tank, before anyone gets all crazy.

Ok, so while we're waiting on that... I got my order from US Composites.

I told that dumb bitch not to play with scissors.




Should get my holds soon, and my Carbon next week. Now that I have a weight I can start yanking everything out. No cutting until I get my holds. I can grind the ribs and start scrubbing the bottom deck with wax and grease remover.
