On the head pipe Yamaha vs kawasaki, there is a 7mm difference between them. Kawasaki is thicker. I just measured them. I run a Yamaha b head pipe on my dasa. Kawasaki head pipes don't have the "B" stamped on them

Gotcha, he has the same spacer but I Had to take a lot out of the head pipe, need to find a mani like that so I can bore it out and bore the spacer and head pipe to match

He's been getting towed in for 14 years, he should have it down to a science now!!! At least he's finally running dual cooling, I only told him to run it for 10 years lol.

What speed did he get out of his setup. I run around 60mph on a stock bore and stroke. But to be fair it has all the bells and whistles you can get(head, 48 novis, igni pro, drypipe, magpump...) Also I am running 1:33 using some high performance mx oil on advise from the builder. So far the ski has not had any issue at all. Also I was told that the tuning for this setup focuses on reliability not on max performance. I could gain more by bumping up the compression adjusting the carbs and timing accordingly. I like to be able to use pump gas and I will not mind loosing a few miles for the sake of reliability. I run 80% of the time over 3/4 throttle. To me the power feels pretty violent just like the feul bill 40-60liter per hour. But after one 60l/hour session I will not be able to walk probably for a week.
