Oh almost forgot. I weighed it just prior to priming it and it was exactly 50 lbs. That includes all fittings, mounts, etc. The only exceptions are the D ring that goes on the nose, pissers, and bilge fitting because I didn't want to have to mask them off.

Well I went waterskiing, wakeboarding, installed fat sacks in my ski boat, mountain biking, some more waterskiing........oh you meant the jetski....LOL. It's padded, scuffed, and ready for turf. The pump, engine, and midshaft are installed. Pole is installed. Electrics are installed in the hull but aren't hooked up yet. Hood isn't 100% finished but it's as finished as it's going to be for the first few rides. I just have to add breather tubes or splash shields inside but it'll be fine for a little while. I've been slacking pretty bad lately but it's getting there.
l should have stayed at the house and worked too.Hornedogg and l decided to go out about 3pm yesterday.Windy and cold! lt was 55 degrees when we got out it was 48.The water felt good but the wind made it too cold.
The freak did well and John got Idok's f1pro together and running.Light little 2x4 she is! Strong motor and once dialed in,the f1 will be bad azz!

Hopefully. Still have to run all of the fuel lines, primer lines, and one waterline from the head to the pisser. The new pissers are further forward to make it easier to get to and my old lines were too short so I need to find a hose to cannibalize. I also have to figure how I'm going to mount my battery and bilge pump. Then turf, cut the rideplate to fit, and water test. I'm sure everything but the water test could be done after work today if I buckle down. We'll see...
Man I've just been plagued with problems this time around... Last week I decided to pressure check the engine just because it was out. That led to me tearing the engine apart because the cylinder had a crack in it. Found out last night when I went to connect the battery that the battery cable isn't long enough........ Uhhhh this cable was the same one I used last year and the electrics, engine, and battery are all in about the same location but I need another 6 inches or so to reach the battery. Not sure how that works. The exhaust tubing I ordered was 2.5" instead of 2.25" like I thought so I was kicking, heating, and fighting to get all the hoses on them.
Then last night, I was cutting all the turf. Put the sides one without any issues. Measured and very carefully marked and cut the bottom portion of the turf. Put the glue down and when I flipped it over to put it on the ski, I realized that the grooves were going the wrong direction.... The remaining turf was 1.5" too narrow to cut another piece. Guess I'll learn to live with it.

I turf that way all the time. Floor one direction and the rails another. It look all good to me. I wanna see that mutha run! Get it done. U and Shane r my motivation to put mine back together this week. How'd the cylinder repair go?
I took a magnifying glass trying to find the ends of the crack on the cylinder and then routed it out a little past where I thought it ended (it was on a corner by the front carb). Then filled it with JB Weld, smoothed it out with glass and sand paper, then added copper gasket spray to the gasket to help fill any little imperfections. That didn't work.... So tried one more thing prior to contacting a tig welder who won't touch it for another month or two. I pulled a 10psi vacuum on the engine, mixed some more JB Weld, put that on the area, and then put a heat gun on the epoxy until it had the consistency of thin syrup. By doing this, the epoxy was sucked into the crack which sealed it.
Don't know how long it'll last but I obviously ran that crack in the cylinder all last year because I was constantly fighting carb issues that I couldn't trace even with a leakdown test. Last year the engine would leak maybe 0.5 psi in 15-20 minutes but I was never able to find the leak. Guess it finally got big enough to find...
