thru bolt help

i need some for reattaching my handle pole. what are they and where can you get these thru bolts. i called fastenall and they didnt know what i was talking about. yamaslut help. or anyone else is fine too.

I think 1/4" - 20tpi SS bolts will work fine.. Go to Ace Hardware and get em.. Make sure you get nylock nuts too

that kind of nut still has to be held from the back side doesnt it? how do you get back there to hold it?

all the way thru the entire pole... not just one side

Can you clarify what you want/need? A single bolt that holds the handlepole on or the 2 individual bolts like X-metal uses?

dont you have an inside out nut retainer? they're pretty cheap at sears...

Use button head bolts on that 1/4"-20 and nylocks. Not regular hex bolts they remove skin. You can get them from MCMaster or any supply house in your town.

all the way thru the entire pole... not just one side

Not all the way through the pole put the nylocks on the inside of the pole your bolts will be about 3/4" in length you can get a wrench on them. :biggthumpup:
