I can't do any kind of strengthening kind of motion yet. Next week I will start resistance. I still have to give the tendon time to regrow to the bone.

Yea it's been a long slow road to recovery at this point. Just warming up now to go to physical therapy for my intense 3 lb weight lifting session. I have a feeling my realistic goal is to be on the water by June 1st. I want to be 100% before I ride and don't want to chance any injury. I figure maybe by then it might actually be above freezing lol! -8 degrees as I type this:(

Well a visit to my surgeon yesterday and all is healing fast!
Today I can start lifting moderate weight and begin the rebuilding process. I've lost about 30 lbs and can't wait to hit the gym this am!
This means by the time I get my new Hurricane and get it built, I will be able to ride and enjoy the whole season!

I'm gonna start lifting a little more because I'm sure if I don't, that new motor, hull, pump combo gonna make me feel like a girly man. You gonna build that Hurricane up for this season or something else?

I've got a brand new Hurricane being built at the Ski Clinic now. Should have it by May 1st. I will be riding hopefully by mid May at 100%. I figure 2 months of my own rehab plus the month that I did with the therapist should be sufficient. I'm sure I won't be at 100% strength but that will come with time. At 34 I don't recover as fast as when I was young lol

Well I'm healed up and heading back to work Monday:) Been hitting the gym like a man possessed! Back up to 245 lbs and fairly strong. Bad news is doc doesn't want me back flipping skis for 2 months yet. It's still cold here and I don't even have a hull so it makes it easy to just wrench and build on skis at PHP til the time comes......God knows we have plenty of that to do:)
