and starboard
ordered a couple caulking gun tubes of 5200 quick cure for resealing
bond line and all penetrations through the firewall

bond line cleaned up with a demel tool brush
biggest leaks were around the exhaust outlet and inlet, and the bond line
defoaming done. getting behind the exhaust pipe it a PITA!
bond line cleaned up and ready for 5200 :Banane35:

cleaned up the hull
siphoned off a bunch of gas and pulled the fuel tank
needs a new bilge pump: the old one had fallen apart

My exhaust tube came out real easy. You may just want to pull it out of there.

the three rivets on the back are all that is holding mine in
I could drill them and clean it up
and then replace them with stainless
I want to call xmetal about their steering and maybe a SN waterbox:biggthumpup:

I drilled the rivets then it tapped right out easy with a block of wood, used stainless screws when I put it back in today.. I did lower the tube about 1.25 inches a the firewall to clear my footholds, just turned the tube till it fit flush and drilled new holes.

maybe this soft part helped water get into the ski?

hit it with a little sandpaper and and it crumbled back to this

bond lines have some seperation
stress crack the length of the hull
exhaust outlet weld seems to have seperated (another way to get water in. .. .

time to start :friday:
