Hey can you post a pic or tell me what type and where you got the hardware for mounting your sjlouie sponsons? Ive got a pair of them and need to track down some hardware...

I used stainless machine screws with nylock nuts on the inside and ss washer/lockwasher combo. I used 10-24 by 1, 1.5, 2 and some 3 inches to hold on the sponson. You can get them at Lowes/Home Depot.
Once I was done with epoxy and glass, the bolts really dont matter.

crawled into the blast cabinet and is purple no more :mischievous:

bottom of hull is done! all the gouges are filled, chines recreated
parts of this hull were rough!
a little fine sanding, some prep work
and she will be ready to be spray bombed!!! :Banane09:

And when I get done, they will be sealed with 5200 on the inside

reinstalled ride plate and intake grate

flipped it over, painted the engine compartment
ground down the screws through the sponson and covered in 5200

cleaned up and painted my nose piece

got a nice throttle cable from Oxnard111 to replace my frayed one

installed new throttle cable
decided to go with dual pissers. the front will be from the head with a flow restrictor inline

replumbed water lines with fiber reinforced hose

reinstalled factory waterbox for the quiet factor
reinstalled gas tank and tossed the engine back in

lined up the coupler, reinstalled the cover and new bilge pump
then I reinstalled the factory siphon under the motor and other assorted plumbing
ran out of hose clamps, called it a night

Thanks! It is coming home from the shop to the garage this weekend and then I will have it done before the end of the month
I want to go ride it with the new sponsons so bad!:biggthumpup:

brought the ski home so I can finish it up in my own garage

Installed new head I got off Wedo
Bumped compression from 150 to 170 - 175
Pump gas!!
