DA sander. then filled in gouges with epoxy and micro bubbles.
prepped and painted the bottom with a thin layer of epoxy
and it was plenty smooth

No updates because my camera died : (

Installed xmetal plate and straight pole cut donw my stock chinpad tonight and did some padding.

chinpad needs a little shaping- you couldnt turn at all in stock form.
