How do you get the stock exhaust manifold off? I took out 8 mani bolts but that thing is stuck good. i have sold the motor so dont want to pry against the cylinders too much.

Second Q

The ebox has a rubber gasket. To get it off if it's really stuck, I'd take the ebox mounts, and screw them back on the box if you took them off. then I'd screw the ebox mounts into a piece of plywood or something and them grab the top part with both hands and pop the top off.

And on second though, in case you didn't know, there is a screw behind each of the ebox mounts, you have to remove the mounts, or twist them out of the eay to access the screws. They are sort of easy to miss.

Tap it downward with a rubber mallet or a piece of wood and a regular hammer. Don't hit it too hard and becareful when it drops lay a towl or something down so it doesn't crack by hitting the floor

Drop the motor on the ground making sure that it hits on the manifold first.

Might as well put the E box underneath it to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Stick a round bar in the center between mani and cyl. and pry to break loose. The cyl. is not that fragile! May the force be with you!
