sounds like a feminine hygiene product
Only thing I can think of is to prevent water from being pushed back up the exhaust tube from the pump?
I'm guessing here, may be they have so much "throw" on there nozels that when extended, they need an extension to stop water from exiting from between pump and turn nozel

Will it work with your straight pull systemYea this is a new product will be coming available from RRP-Rickter . You guys are onto it . with the new hulls with so much pump exposed to the water flow and no ride plate below it . it is causing pump flow problems such as left turn syndrom so forth . this is why it is only noticed on short hulls with pump exposed like xfs, bob, eme arial 8 so forth . this keeps water flow in the pump mostly durings turns and also keeps out waterflow flow from below the hull as it rises up to the pump after the ride plate .
look for it coming soon for thrust ezpull trim systems .
wont matter which system as all the clearance is the same . so yes it will work the sameWill it work with your straight pull system
Nice, what's cost gonna run on one?
