When Barrel Rolls Go Bad!!

This is what happened on my first trip to the river this year. i had just got there and was in the water for maybe two minutes when i decided to do a barrel roll off a yacht wake. now this isnt my first br attempt , but it was my 1st br attempt riding surf stance other than one time at pismo when i did a couple on coung's ski. well needless to say, i didnt land it. i held on and the ski hit me in the face. i always wear a helmet in the ocean , but never in the river. i think i'll start wearing one in the river now though, well at least for the rest of the year because i maxed out my dental coverage for this year :icon16:

i ended up with a split above my left eye, a broken nose and two cracked teeth. you cant tell in the photos but my two front teeth are cracked pretty bad. when the dentist shined a light behind them they had several cracks in them and he said they need to be replaced. oh well, at least i dint break my ski:Banane19:

oh yeah . that's a fun injury. i had a wake board helmet on and still did that. to this day i can't breath right, my nose is to deviated. i figure if i didn't at least have that helmet, the impact on my nose would have been even greater and perhaps id be dead??????
